With a debut album on James Holden’s Border Community, and a listing as one Sven Väth’s Cocoon Recordings’ top acts, the unstoppable force that is Extrawelt will be making a special guest appearance at Re:invent x L.D.G. on March 15th!
Extrawelt kicked off their music career under numerous monikers like MIDI Miliz and Spirallianz back in the early 2000s to remarkable success. In 2005, the changed their name to Extrawelt, and they went on to release their breakthrough, debut track “Soopertrack” on Border Community, which in turn gave them the momentum to produce more and gained them a lot of attention resulting in many remix requests. As to be expected, they went on to perform countless live shows at clubs and festivals around the world.
Their debut album "Schöne Neue Extrawelt" attracted a lot of attention both on the dance floor and in the media. Groove Magazine named it “Best Album 2008”. Raveline awarded it as the best album and Extrawelt as the best live act for that year. In 2011, they released their second album on Cocoon Recordings. In 2014, Faze Magazine awarded them "Best Live Act in 2014", through a readers’ poll.
A daring duo with a keen sense for electro and a dazzling knack for deep and one-of-a-kind harmonies, Extrawelt have been serving exceptionally creative experience to an audiences the world over. Their futuristic sounds are pure techno. Come experience for yourself with VENT’s state-of-the-art sound system an epic night of futuristic dance music!
